A little bit about us...
Adventure radio is owned by Philip Miller, MBE founder of the Stockvale Group. You’ll be familiar with his very successful tourist attractions such as Adventure Island and The Sea Life Centre in Southend-on-Sea.
The radio stations under the Adventure Radio Group are; Connect Radio 106.8fm in Peterborough, Connect Radio 97.2fm & 107.4fm in Northants, Southend Radio 105.1fm, Chelmsford Radio 107.7fm, Heart 96.6 in Watford and now Radio Essex DAB.
All of our businesses and radio stations are based around local communities. Philip, and his team all have the same passion and values for the communities we serve, and our philosophy is simple - our point of difference is that we are ‘passionate about life around here’.
We are the only truly ‘local’ commercial radio stations with a focus on life around your community. All of our shows are broadcast from our local based studios and we only use local presenters that know what life is really like in your community.
